Our Pfilosophy

The entire world knows that crowd-sourced chili is better chili. We're extending that lesson to other food, too: anyone can contribute anything they like, make recommendations on our recipes, or request new ones. We welcome recipe requests! We'll look around for ideas, experiment as necessary, and then open-source the recipe for your comments and tweaks. Send requests (and any other suggestions) to pfreekitchen@gmail.com. If you're interested in contributing — anything, everything, whenever, in whatever quantities — send us an e-mail at the above address.

Also, check out this Washington Post article about Elements, the first entirely crowd-sourced restaurant in the world.

Who We Are

Pfreekitchen was started by Pforzheimer House residents Jess Shang and John Sheffield, but most of the site's content will be generated by its readers and devoted followers. For now, Jennings Xu and Nathaniel Jack round out our crew.

Pfreekitchen Experimental Labs

Check out the "Experiments" section for an update on what we're trying now. Feel free to make suggestions, requests, and tweaks, and please send feedback if you've experimented with us.
